Sophie Falkiner has one of the most recognisable faces in Australia.
A television presenter well known for her work on The Great Outdoors, Wheel of Fortune and Sydney Weekender. Most recently Sophie has been seen travelling Australia and Internationally as host of Channel 7’s Sydney Weekender and Luxury Escapes TV show “The World’s Best Holidays”.
With regular appearances across all networks, Sophie has been a guest presenter on Sunrise, Today Tonight, Today Show, Mornings with Kerrie-Anne (as fill-in host) and Mornings (as fill-in host for Sonia Kruger). She is also a regular contributor to Sunrise, Mornings, Today Show, and Today Extra.
Sophie has also been seen on Foxtels 'Celebrity Come Dine With Me', host of Confidential on FOX8, Intimate Portraits on BIO, and Celebrity Poker. Sophie also filmed a number of TV specials for the network, including Michael Buble’s Canada and The Astra’s. Not to mention her weekly entertainment snippets on Arena where she interviewed the likes of Jessica Alba and the Veronica’s. Plus, covering Australia’s most high profile events: Australian Fashion Week, movie premieres, The Logies, Aria’s and the Helpman Awards.
Sophie has been a successful Ambassador for brands such as; Luxury Escapes, Neutrogena, Wonderbra, Berlei, AMP capital shopping centres, Skin Doctors, Bioglan, Carmex, Running Bare active wear and Palmolive Body butter.
Sophie’s engaging personality and polished presenting style have made her an attractive choice for hosting and MC work. She has worked with clients such as Myer, Telstra, Virgin Airlines, Tourism Victoria, Tourism Australia and the New Woman Beauty Awards to name but a few.
An experienced radio announcer, Sophie has hosted radio shows on Radio 2 with Dr Katrina Warren and been a Smooth FM lifestyle reporter covering major fashion events and racing carnivals, in addition to radio advertisements for 2DayFM and Smooth FM for various commercial brands.
Charities Sophie has been affiliated with include; The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Mother’s Day Classic, The Leukemia Foundation, Make A Wish Australia and Liptember. Sophie is an ambassador for Red Nose day and Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
